DAMAGED, a new film by Filip Bajon (Magnate, Aria for the Athlete, Pendulum), one of the masters of Polish cinema, enthusiastically received at the latest Gdynia Film Festival of Polish Films.

DAMAGED is a dynamic story of three generations of the Dulski family. The plot is set in three time periods - in 1914, 1954 and in the end of the 1990's. The main protagonists are three women in the famous literary family - a grandmother, a mother and a granddaughter. Rainer Dulsky, a professor of psychiatry from Switzerland, visits Melania, the granddaughter of Mrs. Dulska. He feels he's got something in common with the apartment house in which the Dulski family live… Melania, a film director, intrigued by her family history joins Rainer in his research. Their discoveries will take them back to the past full of dramatic secrets that were meant to stay hidden forever. The Dulski family have much on their conscience…

The film has a splendid cast of most outstanding Polish stars: Krystyna Janda plays Grandmother, Katarzyna Figura plays Mother, and Maja Ostaszewska plays Granddaughter. In other leading roles are Olgierd Lukaszewicz, Mateusz Kosciukiewicz, Sonia Bohasiewicz, Wladyslaw Kowalski and Katarzyna Herman.
